This was prompted by Meetup drawing my attention to their guidelines, and apparent duty to disseminate them.A meetup for singles to explore the best Austin has to offer and what it means to be living in community in Austin, Texas. I would not want anyone to fail to attend an event due to babysitting issues, so bring your offspring, or kids for whom you have legal custody, if they are well behaved, and the venue is appropriate. Do not send them unaccompanied by an adult member. I guess if you want your kids, of whatever height, to attend, come with them. Meetup groups and events must be only targeted to people over the age of 18.įamily groups are more than welcome on Meetup, but all children present at the event must be supervised and accompanied by an adult guardian.Īctually, as a singles group, I was not thinking of kids.
